Mikel Leroi Balansag, CPHR, MAHRI  |  CEO & Managing Partner

 

Mikel is a licensed Chartered Professional in Human Resources by the CPHR/CAHR United Kingdom and licensed Chartered Member of the Australian Human Resources Institute. Mikel is also Lean Six Sigma & Design Thinking certified. He was the Board Secretary of the Clark Human Resources Council in 2018-2019.

 

Mikel's diverse people management portfolio includes working as Performance Improvement Manager at JPMorgan Chase & Co, Employee & Labor Relations Manager at Sutherland Global Services handling complex HR operations of two fast-paced, multicultural business units of close to 2,500 employees significantly reducing the turnover rate from a five-year % of 20% down to 3%. Joined Alpha Aviation Group as Head of Human Resources and CHRO where he innovated HR processes for a dynamic, diverse, and demanding Aviation industry, in-charge heavily on the performance management process and serving as a technical labor adviser to the Executive Team working with stakeholders in putting up subsidiaries.

 

In his vision to revolutionize HR processes, he assumed the CEO role for Circa Logica Group in 2018 overseeing all HR businesses and has conducted multiple public and in-house training in the field of Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, Effective People Management, and Labor Law, among others.

 

Mikel holds a degree in Business Administration from Angeles University Foundation and is currently taking up Bachelor of Laws at Lyceum of the Philippines University. As a Unicef Champion for Children, he spends his free time volunteering, focusing on disaster and humanitarian relief initiatives. Mikel is a native of Angeles City.

Roland A. Benitez, MBA, SPHR  |  SVP & Chief Commercial Officer

 

Roy has over two decades of solid background in the fields of HR Operations, Finance, and IT. He holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification, the senior-most human resources certification for those who have demonstrated a strategic mastery of the HR body of knowledge.

 

Roy finished his undergraduate degree in Organizational Communication at De La Salle University and went through an Executive Leadership Program at Cornell University prior to finishing his Master’s degree in Business Administration jointly offered by Singapore Management University and IE Business School-Madrid.

 

Prior to joining Circa Logica Group, Roy has been with global organizations including 3 years at Procter & Gamble, 6 years of contributing to IBM where he was primary responsible of delivery organizations in India (Bangalore), China (Dalian, Beijing, Guangzhou), Korea (Seoul), Japan (Tokyo, Kobe), and Australia (Sydney), as well as account delivery teams in the Philippines (Manila) oversaw IBM’s HR, payroll, and learning services business in the Asia Pacific region. His most role as Commercial Vice President of Macquarie Group, an Australian multinational independent investment bank, and financial services company, involves handling Commercial, Finance, and HR units of its Investment Group working for close to a decade. 

 

He has been sharing his passion for business production, operations management, organizational behavior, and decision analysis as a volunteer lecturer at John Gokongwei School of Management at the Ateneo de Manila University from 2010 up to present.
